Velma Potter
August 18, 1927 - February 20, 2017
Velma Eileen Potter
August 18, 1927 – February 20, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Vel Potter on February 20, 2017.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald Cameron Potter in 2013. Vel is survived by her sister Verla Suszanski, sister-in-law Vera Salmon, daughters Rae, Terrie and Rhonda, grandsons Michael, Matthew, Adam and Timothy, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews.
Mom loved quilting, square dancing and card playing. Her best times were surrounded by family and friends at their cottage in Matlock. During their retirement Vel enjoyed traveling with dad. She was loved and we will miss her.
A private interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Fund.
