<div itemprop="description">Peacefully with family by his side, Telesforo Salanio Yadao passed away at Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, MB, on May 11, 2015 at the age of 86 years. <br /><br />He was predeceased by his children Marilyn, Dolores, Teresita, Grace, and Flordeliza. His memory will be cherished by his spouse of 66 years, Estela; their children, Melchora (Bienvenido), Angelita (Andres), Corazon, Juanito (Marilyn) and Evelyn (Joan); his grand children, Kathryn (Remo), Karen (Glen), Liwliwa (Mat), Emelita, Elenor (Andres II); his great grandchildren, Antonette, Ariadne, Angelica, Matt Anthony, Mikaela, Andres III, Rachel Ann, and Auron; and all his remaining family in the Philippines. <br /><br />Telesforo was born on January 2, 1929 in Sinait, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He worked hard as a farmer providing for his family. He came to Winnipeg in February 1994. Telesforo will be remembered as the soft-spoken, kind hearted and thoughtful man. He enjoyed the simple things in life, especially his garden, which brought him much happiness during the summer season. He found joy in helping raise his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his uplifting spirit, loving and caring nature. His presence and smile will never be forgotten. <br /><br />Funeral service will be held on May 25, 2015, 9:00 am, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews Street with Fr. Richard Arsenault presiding. <br /><br />The family would like to extend their appreciation to the 4th Floor Critical Care Unit of Health Sciences Centre for their kindness and compassionate care. <br /><br /></div>
