<div itemprop="description">Mary passed away peacefully at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne on January 28, 2017 at the age of 89.<br><br>Predeceased by her parents Nick and Helen Arseniuk; husband John Teleglow in 2013; sister Dora Pronchuk; brothers John Arseniuk, Tony Arseniuk; sisters-in-law Marie Arseniuk, Olga Botan; brothers-in-law Sidney Pronchuk, Harry Botan, Mitchell Teleglow, Clarence Teleglow, Nick Teleglow; niece Gail Bright; nephews Ben Arseniuk, Mitchell Teleglow, Daniel Teleglow and Kyle Shepherd.<br><br>Left to cherish her memory are her children Pat (Gordon), Kathy (Harold), Jim (Donna); grandchildren Valeda (Troy), Christine (Sheldon), Karla and Kevin; great-grandchildren Jayden and Tyrell; brother Harry (Joan) Arseniuk; sister Anne Brenner; sisters-in-law Margaret Arseniuk, Mildred Teleglow and Barbara Teleglow; and many nieces and nephews.<br><br>Mom was born in Berryland, MB. She grew up in the Lac du Bonnet area. She moved to Winnipeg to work for Stalls and met John. They married in 1947. In 1952 they bought a farm in Rosewood. Mom worked hard in the fields, barn, garden and raising 3 children. In 1977 they moved to Transcona. Mom loved gardening and baking.<br><br>Mom lived at Villa Youville for the last 8 years. She enjoyed outings, crafts, the entertainment and the staff. Recently she loved the sing-a-longs. Her favorite song was “Que Sera Sera”. That was how she lived. We will miss her wonderful disposition.<br><br>The family would like to thank the staff at the Villa for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to Soeur Rioux and Soeur Vermette for daily hugs and always being there for her. Thanks to Dr. Lemoine for years of care.<br><br>A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 (Mom’s 90th birthday) at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Villa Youville Recreation Dept., 115 Charriere, Ste. Anne, MB or to a charity of your choice.<br></div>
