On March 28, 2017, surrounded by the love of her family, Margaret peacefully went to heaven.

Margaret was born in Gilbert Plains on November 7, 1934 to Gordon and Edythe Campbell. She was the second eldest in a family of four. In her teens she moved to Flin Flon to finish high school and live with her older sister Irva. While in Flin Flon she worked at the telephone office and at the hospital as an LPN. During that time she met and married the love of her life, Murray Gilbert Cadorath (October 5, 1955). Murray and Margaret were married for 55 years and raised their family of four children in Winnipeg.

As well as a busy mom and homemaker, Margaret also ran a successful Nursery School out of her home. Later she nursed part time at Tuxedo Villa and also had a mobile foot care business. Her last position was as a Receptionist at the Grace Hospital Training Residence. She worked there with longtime friends and enjoyed it so much.

Margaret also loved teaching Sunday School and was involved with Christian Women’s Club for years. In 1969 mom and dad bought a cottage in Matlock. Margaret couldn’t wait to pack up the household and get out of the city at the end of June and we didn’t return until just before school started. Some of her favorite past times at the lake were brisk walks, long scenic bike rides with dad, watching the birds and enjoying dad’s flower gardens. Going to garage sales looking for treasures for the cottage was lots of fun. She loved to re-new, re-purpose and re-paint. She made everything lighter and brighter.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Murray (2011) and her brother Gary (2015).

Left to cherish Margaret’s memory are her four children Gary (Marj), Sherry (Byron), Karen (Rob) and Kevin (Heather), her grandchildren Jordan (Tierza), Lindsay, Brett, Kayla, Landon, Jared and her great granddaughter Sadie. Also her sister Irva, her brother Don (Gladys) and sister-in-law Eva Jean.

The family would like to thank the Healthcare Aides that cared for Margaret. A special thank you to the Palliative Care Nurses for their expertise and support. It was a gift for Margaret to remain at home with family for the last months of her life. A private family service will take place at a later date.

We thank God for the gift of our mom.

“Mom you are the place we came from, our first home. We carry you inside of us”.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6
