<div itemprop="description">Loreta Bautista Oliveros (Nanay Nelly), 88, has joined our creator peacefully on December 27, 2016 with her family by her side at Health Sciences Hospital, Winnipeg, MB. She was born on December 10, 1928, in Taguig City, Philippines and immigrated with some members of her family to Winnipeg in 1982, to join her two daughters Natividad and Clarita, who immigrated to Canada in the 1970s. Nanay Nelly was predeceased by her loving husband, Oscar, siblings Josefina, Juliana and Macario. She is survived by her sister, Severina. She had five sons and six daughters together with their spouses, Eligio-Lori, Enrique-Norma (deceased), Bartolome-Elizabeth+, Clarita, Natividad-Eusebio, Miriam (Philippines), Anita-Mar, Oliver-Jopen, Teresita-Odilon, Fernando-Mary Anne and Ofelia. Jennifer Aniciete and Noel Vicente are “adopted" children of the Oliveros family. She had 27 grandchildren: Leonard (deceased), Jennifer, Randy, Jonathan, Daisiree, Rinnalyne, Lee Andrew, Glenn, Sonny, Aimee, Justin, Marvin, Erill Jett, Mark Eldridge, Charlon, Eunice, Anna-Marie, Abbey, Mark, Ashley, Ryan, Jamielyn, Jerome, Jessica (deceased), Aiden, Ava and Ayla. She also had 16 great grandchildren. We will always remember Nanay Nelly as a loving and gracious mother to her family, ensuring that their welfare both here in Winnipeg, and her remaining children in the Philippines are taken care of. Thank you to all the staff of Health Sciences Hospital who extended their support to Nanay Nelly, her home care aide and all of the doctors that cared for her. Lamay (Viewing) will be held on Thursday and, Friday between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight on January 5 and 6, 2017 with prayers at 8:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. John Cantius Church, 846 Burrows Avenue, Winnipeg MB R2X 0R4. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Cemetery.</div>
