Peacefully with family by her side Erlinda Viagedor passed away at Concordia Hospital on September 25, 2016 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband Alberto, daughter Renelita, daughter in law Margareta, son Necito, and granddaughter Aurelia. Erlinda will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Violeta, Gilberta, Milagros, Carmencita, and Nalencita and their respective spouses, children, and grandchildren.
She was born on October 8, 1926 at Abijao, Villaba, Leyte, Philippines to parents Tinas and Reynaldo Andales. She loved to garden, travel and to watch over her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a happy person with a great sense of humour.
A celebration of Erlinda’s life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Sunday October 2, 2016 at 7:00pm. Service will take place at St. Alphonsus Church at 10:00am on Monday October 3, 2016 with burial and reception to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. A special thank you goes to all the staff at Concordia Hospital, Dr. Johnson, nurses and health care aids who tended to Nanay.
